The house occupies a unique and peculiar position within the urban fabric of San Sebastián. It rests on the roof of a five-storey municipally owned building, which bridges the big drop between Cuesta de Aldapeta, the upper street that the house faces, and Calle de San Bartolomé, the lower street.
The proposed project involves a bare cubic space, in light of the current budgetary limitation, topped by a continuous and corrugated zinc roof, with openings in search of views and sunlight.
